Using Windows Media Center with your HTPC setup? Then you’ll want to setup Ceton’s My Media Center, it will give you the ability to interact with your scheduled recordings, act as a Windows Media Center remote and much more. Ceton’s My Media Center works with any tuner and is really easy to setup.

Like indicated in the video, you’ll want to setup port forwarding if you want to access your HTPC outside of your local network. Six minutes into the video they demo the Windows 8 metro app, to be honest, I don’t use it that much I prefer to use My Media Center on Android so that’s what I’ll be demonstrating in the video below:
