Plex on Xbox One – Kinect Voice Commands

Recently I purchased an Xbox One with Kinect to replace my aging Xbox 360 and I’ve got to say that I’m quite happy with it. Later I’ll do a full review of the Xbox One but for now I wanted to highlight how the Xbox One’s Kinect voice commands works with the Plex app. In order for this to work you must have the Kinect, and if you’re considering an Xbox One, trust me when I say to make sure you pickup the Kinect. In the video you’ll see that commands and numbers are assigned to certain functions and content. Kinect gets the command right about 80% of the time, but it really depends on things like background noise of the room, how sound travels in that space and positioning of the kinect. A few times I’ve noticed that I try to command the Xbox before it’s ready to take the command, you can see it in the video a couple times.
